Roger Fisher releases new “Love Alive”

Founding member of Heart Roger Fisher, who left the band after the first wave of success, has produced a new version of the 1977 Heart song “Love Alive”. Good to hear he’s still out there making music, not? This video is “the making of” and it shows the amount of production that has been put into it. “Originally written in 1975 by Roger, Ann and Nancy Wilson, this video highlights the enduring relevance of the song’s message.” Check out those vintage pictures of Heart’s early early early days!

A message from Ann Wilson to Roger Fisher: “Hey Rog! I did see it on YouTube and I was very impressed. So well shot and uplifting. The song wears well, and you sound good singing it. You guys all obviously had a great time making it and it shows. Way to go! Love, Ann” (from Universal Heart)

  1. Cool! Roger has a really nice voice and it’s a very different take on the original. I like it.
