This coming week it’s expected that The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland will be announcing their nominees for the Hall for 2012. Heart has been eligible for quite some years now, but it seems the buzz hasn’t been this big since ever before. Check out this thread on Future Rock Legends for their predictions (no Heart) and the many comments that mention Heart as a possible nominee. Also check out Goldmine Magazine prediction Heart to be really close to be among the nominees (based on their readers input). And Goldmine’s article about Heart and the Rock Hall from earlier this year.
Would be nice huh? But let’s not build up hope too much! In the meantime: go over to Facebook and “like” this.

I sincerely hope that the Hall of Shame reverts to the Hall of Fame. They won’t in my mind until Heart is given their rightful place as pioneering women rockers alongside Patti Smith, Pat Benatar, and Debbie Harry/Blondie.

I hope they will be inducted! Since decades they have a big influence to rock and roll music and opened the way for many other women in rock music. They deserve it to stand in one row with the other inducted legends of rock music.
If they are inducted I hope they go with the orginal members of Heart. Together they are the ones that put Heart on the rock and roll map. I would love to see a reunion concert. I don’t think Ann and Nancy want to do that but I know of a whole lot of fans that would LOVE IT!!!
