As reported earlier on The Heartlinker, a couple of (then unconfirmed) song titles from the new album “Fanatic” have surfaced. A monger on the official BBS mentioned having seen an article in Classic Rock Magazine (in the shop) that featured some song titles, but the monger did not have the article at hand. This made me go on a search for the magazine, but unfortunately the newest (March) issue did not have the article. Turns out it was the February issue (out in the end of January 2012) that had the article and I purchased the back issue in the Apple Newsstand. This magazine has reported earlier about Heart in a fond way and as “Fanatic” is one of the song titles mentioned (this February issue was published before the name “Fanatic” was spilled by Nancy on February 19th), this makes these 4 new titles totally believable. Here’s the article, written at a moment when the new album still had a different working title:
So now we have 5 song titles! Mashalla, Fanatic, Dear Old America, Skin and Bones and Beautiful Broken.

Great find, TDHS! Thanks for sharing. Can’t wait to see the lyrics for those songs, as the titles really have my interest. I heard the album would deal with some of the stuff that’s going on in the world, so I’m interested to hear it :)

I was the Monger that discovered the song titles in Classic Rock Magazine. Thanks for posting the proper song titles. I did not have anything to wrtite them down with. I also think that Masalla is a very strong song by them. My only hope with FANATIC is that they showcase more of the new songs. They only really need to do five from the CD.
