Nancy spoke to LA radiostation The Sound and said:
“There’s an offer on the table for the summer of 2018 and I think we’re probably gonna be doing that. A big headlining tour.”

I know Heart is on hiatus for the time being. Anything you can say about the future of the band?
Right now, there’s an offer for a headlining 2018 summer tour. I’d be very happy to do that. Right now, I’m not sure what’s in Ann’s head about any of that right now. I’m just hoping for the best because Heart’s a great band and I like being in it. Ann’s sort of getting her other creative itch scratched right now, doing all different kinds of things other than the Heart type thing. I guess time will tell. I just have my fingers crossed for the summer of 2018.
Roadcase Royale:
Any plans for more touring?
We got a big offer [for Roadcase Royale] that we’re going to announce, once we know for sure it’s on. It’s a big tour, big arenas, about 25 shows, with the potential addendum of 20, 30 more. I’m really excited because we’re ready to hit the road. It will start in the middle of September and go about two months.
There is no way Heart is going to accept a package tour in 2018 if what Ann is saying is to be believed. That is exactly the thing she is saying she won’t be a part of.
And Ann had two interviews this week (on the7th and 8th) where she referred to Heart in the past tense (“back when I was with Heart…”, “songs from back in the Heart days…”). If you didn’t know better, he newest interviews make it sound like she is no longer in Heart.
I think anyone expecting to see a Heart tour, or even show, next year is setting themselves up for a huge disappointment.
