UCR: George Fest: A Night to Celebrate the Music of George Harrison arrives on digital and physical audio and video formats Feb. 26, 2016 — the day after what would have been Harrison’s 73rd birthday. Filmed and recorded at the Fonda Theater in Los Angeles on Sept. 28, 2014, the concert gathers an eclectic array of his famous fans and musical peers, including Brian Wilson, Heart‘s Ann Wilson, Perry Farrell, and “Weird Al” Yankovic.
The set includes: “Beware of Darkness,” by Ann Wilson and “All Things Must Pass” (Ann Wilson, Dhani Harrison, Karen Elson and Norah Jones).
The George Fest package, which is available for pre-order now, will be available in a variety of configurations, including a 2CD/DVD set, 2CD/Blu-Ray, 3LP 180-gram vinyl, and digital download.
