From Heart: “Dear Old America” was written by Ann & Nancy Wilson as a tribute to their father, John Bushrod Wilson Jr., a highly decorated veteran Marine Corps officer.
“This song is especially written for those men and women who have served, those men and women who have put themselves out there on the edge, and who are trying to come home and return to the world as it is here,” says Ann Wilson.
Join Ann & Nancy in honoring our fellow Americans who have served by paying tribute to the veteran or active military member in your life. Submit a photo of the friend or family member that you’d like to honor and it may appear in the official music video for “Dear Old America.“
Once completed, the video will be a dedication to those who have and continue to defend our freedom.

Heart is simply the best Rock N Roll band of all time. For them to honor their Father like this is no surprise to me. They are the coolest Chicks ever and I think this is awesome!
