“Fanatic” Billboard entry: # 24!

No official news yet about its first week on the chart, but I did find projections here about a #25 entry.

Update October 10th (PM): No conformation yet, but this article puts Heart at #24

Update October 11th: it’s official: #24 on billboard 200. The rockalbum chart is #12.

Update October 13th: a cool article on billboard.com with an interview with Nancy. “Thirty-six years after first arriving on the Billboard 200 with the hard rock classic “Dreamboat Annie,” which reached No. 7 in 1976 over a 100-week chart run, Heart is rocking harder than it has in years. This week, its crunchy new “Fanatic,” the band’s 14th studio album, launches at No. 24.” […] “With “Fanatic,” introduced with the title cut single, which debuts at No. 24 on the Heritage Rock airplay chart, and “Walkin’ Good” (featuring Sarah McLachlan), which is building at adult contemporary, the band hopes to continue adding to its legacy.”

  1. I don’t really understand…everyone has promoted the hell outof Fanaticand with the release of Strange Euphoria and Kicking & Dreaming…I was surFanaticwouldbe Top 10 or better as Red Velvet Car. There was so much more PR, television, internet talk etc.

  2. I think DOA will pull it back up. Great song and the new video concept is a great idea… Plus releasing it on Veterans Day will make it timely and significant. I’d like to see Skin and Bones released as well…and even Million Miles. When I play those for people they love them!

  3. A mighty and interesting storm covers the NorthEast. They say it’s all because of the Moon. Not the brightest.Come closer.. It is a new season. Heart will receive new wine.
