Google Translate reveals a September 22nd release of the 13 track CD. “Japanese edition released in the format of the additional 13 songs from the board one more song in Europe!”. This information was found on CDJapan.
Google Translate also tells us that the 13th track is “Listening“. Or at least: that´s what it translates into. It´s unlikely that the translation should actually be “In the Cool”. Thus: this could be the lost 14th song! 13 have been accounted for: 10 standard tracks, “Bootful of Beer”, “Closer to the sun” and “In The Cool”.
UPDATE: I have confirmation “Listening” is a song from the “Red Velvet Car” sessions!

So how many copies of RVC are we supposed to buy to collect all the tracks??? I really hate this sort of thing. Why can’t there be just one release everywhere? Besides frustration, this sort of thing promotes trading or illegal down loading of the extra tracks you can’t get in your country. Yes, you can find the Japanese version in the USA, but it will be $35-40 for a copy!
How about releasing an EP of all the assorted extra tracks so everybody can get them???

Speaking of collecting… I just got my WTF+4 CD! I love it! The production on WTF and Sand is great..and Sand sounds incredible… I didn’t think it could be improved on but it is even more beautiful. And the live tracks are just amazing! Can’twait for RVC… I’ll take the version with as many tracks as possible!

I’ve been collecting for 35 years and have worked in the record industry. I don’t need to collect anymore and have multiple copies of new releases from every band. This just seems so unnecessary in the digital age.
