Finally an update on this project that the Heartlinker reported about in 2011. More than a dozen Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees will be featured on “The Art of Paul McCartney,” including, Bob Dylan, Kiss, Billy Joel and Heart. The 34-song tribute album pays tribute to the former Beatle and veteran solo superstar. Due out Nov. 18, the album features songs from throughout McCartney’s illustrious career performed by a diverse array of artists. […] The album can now be pre-ordered on iTunes and Amazon. It will be available in several formats, including as a 34-track CD and vinyl album, and in digital form. There’s also a 42-track deluxe edition, which adds on bonus tracks by rockabilly queen Wanda Jackson, The Cure singer Robert Smith, Ronnie Spector and others, along with a DVD documentary about the making of the album, hardbound books and more.
