I can’t imagine the Heart camp approving this cover? The tracklist suggests a live recording from the seventies, very possibly the exact same as the two live DVD’s (‘Live transmissions’ & ‘The broadcast archives’) released a few years ago, against the will of the band (but supposedly legal by international law)
I may be a minority here but I hope this release is legal…I will finally have a quality version of mainstage to blast in my car. That song, for me, is just a masterpiece!

hi finally another vintage HEART! I ALWAYS HOPE AGAINST HOPE THAT ONE DAY AN OFFICIAL LIVE CONCERT DVD FOR THE 1978 TOUR [AND MAYBE 1980] WOULD BE RELEASED BY HEART, JUST TO CLOSE OFF THAT TIME PERIOD. I’M SURE THEY MUST HAVE FILMED SOMETHING IN FULL LENGTH FOR TV BACK THEN? I KNOW CAL JAM ’78 WAS FILMED BUT THEY CUT THE SONGS TO ONLY 4, THEY ALO APPEARED FOR TAXAS JAM ’78 SO MAYBE THERE’S SOMETHING IN THE VAULTS?
I KNOW WE ALREADY HAVE SOME DVDS NOW[LOTS OF THEM] BUT THATS DIFFERENT,IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GOOD TO SEE THEM AS THEY WERE HAPPENING AS IT HAPPENED IN ’78/’80!!! ROCK ON!!!
