As we still await the announcing of shows in 2017 (and that wait is getting a little long compared to other years since 2002, making some Heartmongers worry), Heart played the last show for now on Saturday October 22nd 2016 in the Riverdome at Horseshoe Casino in Bossier City, Louisiana. Hereby ending the 2016 tour that took them to Canada, the UK and all over the USA, often accompanied by Joan Jett and Cheap Trick. This post will be updated these coming days with a couple of pictures and maybe vids from this particular show below the banners from the 2016 run.

On June 29th 2016 Heart performed in the capital of the UK, London. They packed the famous Royal Albert Hall and played several songs together with the famous Royal Philharmonic in front of a bunch of camera’s. Eagle Rock (the label that brought you “Night at Sky Church” and the European release of “Red Velvet Car” for instance) has announced the release of the DVD, Blu-Ray (and possible CD!):

As a little taste I’m posting this unofficial recording of “Alone” made by Darren. He has combined several sources of fan-made footage. Unfortunately, the wail kinda went wrong, which makes me uncertain about this song being on the release.

On March 31st and April 1st Ann Wilson performed at the David Bowie Tribute in New York. On the first night she did “Let’s Dance” and on the second night she performed “Space Oddity”.
