Happy New Year!

It is January 1st 2018 in The Netherlands! heartlinker.nl wishes all the Heartmongers worldwide a Happy New Year!

As I look back on the past year I can’t ignore (sorry!) that both Ann & Nancy seem to have no idea if Heart ever takes the stage again. During 2017 lots of Heartmongers began to understand and deal with the situation as both Ann & Nancy reflected multiple times on the impact of what happened on August 26th 2016 at the White River Amphitheatre. The impact on themselves, the family and the band Heart.

I don’t think we see the whole picture, not by far, but there is little to cheer about. Yes, their time apart has sparked new wonderful things like Nancy’s Roadcase Royale with their phenomenal debut album “First Things First” and Ann’s solo adventures on the road. But the hurt within the Wilson family must be immense. Let’s hope 2018 brings good things.

Happy New Year! I’ve always appreciated and looked forward to new items you’ve posted. Unfortunately, the last half of 2017 I felt extremely negative towards the Ann camp and all that occurred, I couldn’t listen to Heart without a feeling of loss and hurt on all the emotions and love I’ve invested in Heart for over 30 years.

I hope 2018 brings the family together and maybe one last project that sets a better tone for the end chapter of Heart.

It’s a dream come true: Nancy stepping out of the shadow of Heart with new songs and reworkings of classic songs, and Ann fulfilling interpretations of great songs – whoopy! :)
