70’s concert coming to DVD

On July 29th a tiny label will release a DVD with a 1970’s concert. This is not a DVD-r. The release is probably not approved by the band, but still a nice collector’s item. The DVD is region 2/PAL. So caution is advised for collector’s outside Europe. Click here for Amazon.co.uk.

Added August 7h 2016: ACTUALLY, the tiny obscure label has made a little mistake. This show is definately from the early 80s. And yes, in that case you should use a 90s photo!

USA Amazon will be carrying an NTSC release of this DVD beginning September: Amazon.com

Probably for the Heart fan that needs everything. It’s nice to have footage of the band from this era, though I’ve seen clips from this DVD on youtube, but it’s good to have it all in one package. As others have said it’s from a tv brodcast video taped and transfared to dvd so the picture quality is ok but not great, same can be said for the sound quality. It is what I expected from an unofficial release.
No better no worse than many other unoffical DVD’s that are popping up all over the place these days for pretty much every band you’ve heard of.

Band includes ( ’82/’92 line-up) Ann and Nancy Wilson, Howard Leese, Mark Andes, Denny Carmessi

    Tracks
Crazy On You, Raised On You, This Man Is Mine, Straight On, Magic Man, Tell it Like it Is, Dog & Butterfly, The Situation, Even It Up, Barracuda, Rock & Roll

  2. Would love to see something like this for 1985-88 (self-titled and Bad Animals eras), but my hopes are low considering thee isn’t really any good footage from these eras on youtube.

Part of the problem during this time period is that Heart’s management greatly limited photographers presumably because they were concerned about Ann’s weight. In hindsight it’s pretty ridiculous that they were so controlling, and because of it we are really limited in what we can see from Heart’s most successful (commercially) period.
