“Kick it out”, Foo Fighters with Ann & Nancy Wilson of Heart, The Late Show with David Letterman, October 14th 2014.
CATCH HEART ON TOUR STARTING OCT. 17TH
USA Today | “Two nights, two great TV music moments. Who knows what they’ve got up their sleeves for the next three days?”
Rolling Stone | “Grohl stood mostly in the background this time around, letting the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame sisters do their thing. “Good God, we should do this every night,” Letterman shouted following the performance. “Every night it’s a party.”
Music Times | So, what did you think of the performance? It’s pretty safe to say Letterman dug it, considering his ever so enthusiastic tone towards the song’s ending, saying, “I don’t know! I don’t know! I don’t know! Oh god, we should do this every night!” It’s a rarity, seeing Letterman excited, but Dave Grohl and his crew certainly managed to do so!
Huffington Post | “Clearly impressed, Letterman yelled out after the song’s conclusion: “I don’t know! I don’t know, I don’t know! My God, we should do this every night!”
CBS | “Dave Grohl and the guys took a step back for this performance, letting the two women do their thing while they played back-up.”
Ultimate Classic Rock | “but for their second night, they stayed much closer to home, teaming up with Heart for a rendition of the Seattle legends’ ‘Kick It Out.’
Entertainment.ie | “The newly assembled (and very temporary) supergroup performed Heart’s 1977 hit ‘Kick It Out’, during which the Wilson’s took front and centre leaving the Foos very much in the background for the performance. “
