Coming September 30th 2014 a new Capitol Records box set is scheduled to be released to the public. I hope they release the albums in some nice sleeves with the artwork. The albums are: Heart, Bad Animals, Brigade, Rock the House Live and Desire Walks On. No information other than this… I’ll keep an eye out for more info. The picture was found at CD Universe.

Added September 23rd 2014: “This budget-priced box set from classic rock and pop greats Heart rounds up five of the band’s mid- to late-period albums, including their 1985 eponymous eighth long-player (“These Dreams,” “What About Love”), 1987’s Bad Animals (“Alone,” “Who Will You Run To”), 1990’s Brigade (“All I Wanna Do Is Make Love to You”), 1991’s Rock the House Live!, and 1993’s Desire Walks On (“Will You Be There [In the Morning]”). ~James Christopher Monger” (CD Universe)

Update October 15th 2014: and here’s the package. It’s a simple yet effective edition with cardboard sleeves of each album, hosted in a cardboard box. The CD’s have the original prints. “Desire walks on” has the original US 13 tracks.

  1. Hi! I’ve just followed the link to this product and it states the boxset has one disc?! Then under “product description” It states “5 Classic Albums CD music contains a single disc”. Must be one giant cd!

  2. I sure hope they remaster all of those discs, especially self-titled and Bad Animals. When I rotate songs in on my iPod from either of those albums I have to adjust the volume.

  3. I hate to ever criticize anything with Heart, but I really would prefer Rock the House Live be omitted and add The Road Home with some bonus cuts! I haven’t listed to RTHL for years, I really didn’t care for the recording sound. The Road Home is a gem, I love it and the video so much I never grow tired off Ann’s voice at that stage in their careers.

Thanks as always for keeping this Canadian up-to-date! I’d be lost without you ;)

  4. Thanx for posting these, @TDHS!

You’re going to pass out. You’re really going to pass out, when you find the radio broadcast of

    Tarrant County Convention Center,Fort Worth,Texas,04 03 1980

which Ann states in the pre-concert short interview, that it is about #7 of Heart’s concerts to support Bebe le Strange.

Here you go, my favorite from Bebe le Strange: Strange Night

What do you think about the quality? Not too shabby. The title says it is a bootleg, but analog or stereo, it was professionally recorded for radio.

Sorry, I keep commenting! My life is made. Nobody knows. All I want is the live performances of Bebe le Strange.

  5. Thanks TDHS, that was my thought too on the remastering. It’s a shame because those albums need remastering in the worst way. Fingers crossed.

  6. No need to apologize for commenting! I’m glad you guys are here :) By the way: you can comment on Facebook as well. I give more updates there.

Your videos have inspired me to have Way Back Weekends :) Next weekend another batch :)
